Claudia Caldas,

LAc, MAOM

As a mother, educator and nurse assistant, I have cultivated my life to serve with love and empathy. Mahatma Gandhi once said “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” I believe that everything can change and become better when we are part of the healing process.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine came into my life when I was battling stress, muscular-skeletal pain, weak immune system and allergies. I turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to fight those “irreversible” conditions and discovered them to be very effective. The experience inspired me to pursue a master degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. My clinic experience includes helping patients strengthen their bodies to fight diseases related to colds, fatigue, headaches, stress, irritability, PMS, allergies, weak immune systems, arthritis, eye problems, skin problems, and digestive issues.

My love for healing grew from seeing how TCM brings comfort, relief and strength to patients. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, I help my patients understand that TCM treatments and herbal medicine can aid in healing, as well as prevent diseases and flare-ups of chronic conditions. With great care and compassion, I look forward to helping my patients achieve stronger and healthier versions of themselves and improve their quality of life.
